Most devastating have been the Palisades and the Eaton Fires\, destroying thousands of acres of land in the Pacific Palisades\, Malibu\, Santa Monica\, Altadena\, and Pasadena. Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated\, with Mayor Karen Bass & Governor Gavin Newsom declaring a state of emergency. Thousands of homes are at risk\, with an unknown number already having been destroyed.
